GETTING TO KNOW PREDATOR!
PREDATOR! is the brand name for the high quality rugby equipment produced by Richter Engineering. The company was originally formed to manufacture Rhino Rugby Scrum Machines, but soon developed the much superior range of Predator! Scrum Machines. There is a huge range of Predator! scrum machines from junior sleds to double-ended roller machines.
The next area of specialization was the highly rated Predator! Rugby Ball. These superb quality match balls are manufactured by Richter Engineering (India) and constitute a large proportion of the company's sales. Thousands of rugby balls are imported and stocked at the North Devon HQ, ensuring that they can be delivered to customers on a next day service. The Predator! policy is to supply the best quality rugby ball at the lowest price, unlike other brands with grossly inflated prices across a "range" of rugby balls. Predator! supply one grade of rugby ball - the BEST. In addition to the stock rugby balls, with a choice of 15 different colour combinations, customers may specify their balls to be printed with their own colours, logos, sponsor names etc. Predator! also supply top quality Soccer Balls, Netballs and Volleyballs. The company in India is responsible for producing the majority of Predator! products. In addition to the Rugby Balls, the regular monthly imports include complete sets of customised Team Strip, Shorts, Jackets, Kit Bags, Ball Bags, Corner Poles, Corner Flags, Post Protectors, Training Bibs and Tops, Tracksuits, Subsuits, Headguards and Shoulder Pads. General Training Equipment and Speed & Agility Equipment is also produced in India. This includes such equipment as Speed Ladders, Banana Steps (Speed Hurdles), Grid Marker Poles and Cones, Power Parachutes, Tacklebags, Contact Shields, Contact Suits and Tag Rugby Belts. Once again, These items are always in stock for next day delivery. Predator! Scrum Machines are not the only items manufactured in the North Devon factory. Galvanized Rugby Goalposts, with their exceptional lifespan, are a speciality and Richter Engineering are the sole British manufacturer of Plyometric Boxes. Another British assembled item, supplied by Predator!, is Portable Lighting. A range of Portable Floodlights can be supplied to cater for various requirements. Floodlights to cater for full field illumination or smaller floodlights for quarter, third or half field illumination. The more powerful portable floodlights have diesel driven generators, while the smaller floodlights have petrol generators. Some portable floodlights may even be built to receive their power from mains electricity, where a suitable supply is easily accessible.
